Jacques d'Estournelles de Constant

this competitor is no longer listed.
He was mentioned as being on the boat Plume-Patte, which sailed on 22/5. I have now given that place to the competitor called Jean. Plume-Patte is listed as not having finished in the second race on 24/5, but it is more likely the boat did not start at all, since Jean d'Estournelles de Constant is listed as having sailed on "Pierre et Jean".

Olympic Competitor nr 423

(Louis Étienne) Jean (Léonce Balluet) d'Estournelles de Constant (Rebecque)

B. 1859-09-15, La Flèche, France; D. 1949-07-21
Sailing
1900 HP
Open Class fifth 500

1/2-1 ton class (1) fifth 250
1/2-1 ton class (2) dnf 1.6
1001.6

Olympic Competitor nr 312

I have assumed that he sailed both in the 1/2-1 ton class in "Pierre et Jean" and in the 0-1/2 ton class in "Plume-Patte". In Mallon's book, the crew of Plume-Patted is listed as Jacques d'Estournelles de Constant, so this is probably a mistake. Plume-Patte is listed as non-finisher on 24/5, but it is more likely the boat did not start, as Jean d'Estournelles was sailing in Pierre et Jean at the same time.
