One of the more difficult competitors from Czechoslovakia to ascribe a "current" nationality to. He was born in Hungary, of Hungarian-German and Czech ancestry. His grandmother was Slovakian and he was raised in Bratislava, Slovakia. He competed for Slovan Bratislava and Dukla Praha. He later moved to Canada and still lives there, but he also has a home in Brno (Moravia, now in the Czech Republic). I take the youth spent in Bratislava as the most important and consider him Slovakian.
