The "Japanese runner who dissapeared". After 30 km of the Stockholm Marathon he went into a hose to ask for a glass of water, but fell asleep on the coach. He was too ashamed at not finishing the race that he silently took a ship back to Japan. He was not forgotten in Sweden though, and 50 years later they searched for him in Japan. he was found, and he visited Stockholm in 1967 - and finished his race 55 years after it began.
