He was twice lucky in Los Angeles. Firstly, when Barát-Lemberkovits Antal fired a ten in the wrong target, that left him nine points behind the winner. If it had been the correct target, Rönnmark would not have won. And then secondly, after finishing the main competition, he donated his extra bullets to some friends. When he was then ordered to a shoot-out, he needed to round up those bullets again. He managed it, and won the shootout and the gold medal.
