He was still alive in 2016 and considered Singapore's eldest Olympian. I also consider him
to be Singaporean, despite him representing (the republic of) China in 1948.
The OlyMADMen database says the order Wenliang Xie is Oriental, but I think that is an error.
Xie is most probably the family name, which I have put first to conform to Chinese tradition.
