The website lists all those who entered the combined event as "dnf". However, the points for the combined were attributed only for places among those who finished all four distances. It is therefore not normal to consider the non-finishers as starters for the combined, since they did not even get points for the distances they did complete. Two competitors did start all four distances, and I do award those with points. Asser Wallenius would have finished seventh overall, even if his fall in the 1500 metres had counted as last (11th). I give him the points for seventh, therefore.
