shows 38 countries. Of course the comparison isn't fair, as I don't
have
to cross any oceans to make this list a little longer. (and here is the
list
of the provinces
that I have already
visited).
According to the TCC (the
Travelers'
Century Club),
Hainan, Bali, Scotland, Wales, Srpska, Madeira, the Canaries, Sicily, the
Ionian
Islands,
the Dodecanesos and Asian (or European) Turkey are additionally termed
"countries", so that I could count 53 countries, still a long way off
the
100 needed for membership of that club.
If flying over the country is
also allowed, there are an additional
15 countries on my list, 17 if I can also include Sumatra and the
Nicobar Islands.
